Terms and Conditions
Mango & Marmalade Audiobook Affiliate Programme
Terms & Conditions
Effective date: September 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to the Mango & Marmalade Audiobook Affiliate Programme operated
by Mango and Marmalade Stories Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By joining the Affiliate Programme, you (“Affiliate”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About the Programme
The Affiliate Programme allows individuals, creators, educators, community organisations and other partners to promote participating Mango & Marmalade Stories audiobooks and audiobook bundles using a unique affiliate tracking link.
When a qualifying purchase is successfully attributed to your affiliate link, you can earn commission in accordance with these Terms.
Participation in the programme does not create an employment, agency, partnership or joint venture relationship between you and Mango and Marmalade Stories Ltd.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to participate.
You must provide accurate contact and payment information.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend or terminate participation where reasonably necessary, including where these Terms are breached.
3. Affiliate Commission
Affiliates earn 42% commission on each qualifying audiobook or eligible audiobook bundle sale successfully attributed to their unique affiliate link.
Commission is calculated in the currency in which the qualifying purchase is made. This may include Philippine pesos (PHP), British pounds (GBP) or US dollars (USD).
Examples based on current prices include:
Individual audiobooks
₱120 sale = ₱50.40 commission
£2.00 sale = £0.84 commission
$2.00 sale = $0.84 commission
Audiobook bundles
₱600 bundle = ₱252 commission
£10 bundle = £4.20 commission
$10 bundle = $4.20 commission, if offered at that price
These examples are for illustration only. Product prices may change from time to time. The Affiliate will receive 42% of the qualifying commissionable sale amount applicable at the time of purchase.
Where applicable taxes are deducted by the sales or affiliate platform before commission is calculated, the 42% commission will be calculated on the eligible amount after those taxes.
Discounts or promotional offers may therefore affect the amount of commission earned.
4. What Counts as a Qualifying Sale
A qualifying sale is a genuine completed purchase that:
is correctly attributed to the Affiliate's unique tracking link;
has been successfully paid;
relates to a product included in the Affiliate Programme;
has not been cancelled, refunded, disputed or charged back; and
does not involve fraud, misuse or prohibited self-referral activity.
Commission is not payable simply for clicks, registrations, leads or other activity unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
5. Affiliate Tracking
Affiliate referrals and sales are tracked through Systeme.io using each Affiliate's unique affiliate ID and tracking link.
Affiliates must use the link provided to them when promoting participating products.
We cannot guarantee commission where the affiliate link has been incorrectly altered, removed or otherwise fails to track the transaction.
Systeme.io tracking records will normally be used to determine whether a sale qualifies for commission. Where there appears to be a genuine technical error, we may review the transaction manually.
6. Payment of Commission
Commission is subject to a 30-day validation period from the date of the qualifying purchase.
This period allows time for refunds, cancellations, disputes and chargebacks to be identified before the commission becomes payable.
Payments will be made through PayPal according to the applicable affiliate payment cycle.
Affiliates are responsible for providing a valid PayPal account capable of receiving payment.
Where commissions are earned in different currencies, PayPal or another payment service may apply currency conversion rates or transaction charges. Any fees imposed directly by the payment provider are outside our control.
7. Refunds, Cancellations and Chargebacks
Commission is not payable on transactions that are subsequently:
refunded;
cancelled;
reversed;
disputed;
charged back; or
identified as fraudulent.
If commission relating to such a transaction has already been credited or paid, we may deduct the corresponding amount from future commission payments where permitted by law.
8. Affiliate Disclosure
Affiliates must clearly tell their audience that they may earn commission when somebody purchases through their affiliate link.
The disclosure must be clear and easy to notice and should appear close to the recommendation, promotion or affiliate link.
Recommended wording:
“I may earn a commission if you purchase through this link.”
Affiliates are responsible for complying with the advertising and disclosure requirements that apply to them and their audience.
This includes applicable requirements in the United Kingdom, United States and Philippines.
9. Honest Promotion
All statements about Mango & Marmalade Stories, our books and our audiobooks must be truthful and must not mislead customers.
Affiliates must not:
make false or exaggerated claims;
invent testimonials or reviews;
make guarantees that we have not authorised;
misrepresent prices, discounts or product content;
claim to be an employee or official representative of Mango and Marmalade Stories Ltd;
create misleading promotions or offers; or
make claims about our products that we have not approved or cannot substantiate.
10. Promotional Materials
We may provide Affiliates with approved:
book covers;
audiobook artwork;
graphics;
photographs;
promotional copy;
descriptions;
videos; and
other marketing materials.
These materials remain the intellectual property of Mango and Marmalade Stories Ltd and/or the relevant rights holders.
Affiliates receive a limited, non-exclusive and revocable licence to use approved materials solely for promoting participating products through the Affiliate Programme.
Materials must not be altered in a way that misrepresents our books, characters, products or brand.
11. Audiobook Content
Affiliates may promote and link to our audiobooks but may not:
download and redistribute audiobook files;
upload complete audiobooks to another platform;
sell copies of audiobook files independently;
provide unauthorised free access to paid audiobooks; or
otherwise reproduce or distribute our copyrighted content without permission.
Customers must be directed to an authorised Mango & Marmalade Stories sales page or other approved purchase location.
12. Use of Our Brand
Affiliates must not register or use Mango & Marmalade Stories, Sam and Sophie, our book titles, characters, logos or other protected brand assets as:
a business or trading name;
a website domain;
an account designed to appear to be our official social-media account;
an app name; or
another identifier that could reasonably lead customers to believe the Affiliate is Mango and Marmalade Stories Ltd.
13. Paid Advertising
Affiliates must obtain our written permission before running paid advertisements using:
Mango & Marmalade Stories;
Sam and Sophie;
our book titles;
our characters;
our logos; or
other protected brand terms or assets.
Affiliates must not create advertisements that falsely appear to be official advertisements placed directly by Mango and Marmalade Stories Ltd.
14. Spam and Unsolicited Marketing
Affiliates must not use spam, unlawful unsolicited bulk messaging or other prohibited electronic marketing practices.
Affiliates are responsible for complying with applicable email, SMS, social-media, privacy and direct-marketing requirements.
15. Marketing to Children
Although our audiobooks are intended for children and families, participation in the Affiliate Programme is for adults.
Commercial promotions should primarily be directed towards parents, carers, educators and other adult purchasers.
Affiliates must comply with applicable advertising rules relating to children.
16. Self-Referrals, Fraud and Abuse
Affiliates may not create artificial transactions solely for the purpose of generating commission.
Prohibited activity includes:
fraudulent purchases;
fake accounts;
manipulated tracking;
repeatedly purchasing and refunding products;
unauthorised use of another person's payment details; and
other activity intended to generate commission improperly.
We may cancel associated commissions and suspend or terminate the Affiliate where we reasonably believe fraudulent or abusive activity has occurred.
17. Taxes
Affiliates are responsible for determining and paying any personal or business taxes, duties or reporting obligations relating to their affiliate earnings.
Mango and Marmalade Stories Ltd does not provide individual tax advice.
18. Local Laws
The programme is available to eligible Affiliates in multiple countries, including the Philippines, United Kingdom and United States.
Affiliates are responsible for complying with the laws, advertising standards, disclosure requirements, tax rules and other regulations applicable to their own activities and location.
Affiliates promoting to audiences in another country should also comply with any applicable rules governing advertising to consumers in that country.
19. Monitoring and Compliance
We may review publicly available Affiliate content relating to our products to ensure that the Affiliate Programme and our brand are being represented appropriately.
If content does not comply with these Terms, we may ask the Affiliate to amend or remove it.
Serious or repeated breaches may result in suspension or termination from the programme.
20. Ending Participation
Affiliates may stop participating in the programme at any time.
We may suspend or terminate an Affiliate where:
these Terms are breached;
misleading or unlawful marketing is used;
fraudulent activity is suspected;
our intellectual property is misused; or
the Affiliate's activities may reasonably cause material harm to our brand or customers.
Valid commissions earned before termination will normally remain payable, subject to the 30-day validation period and these Terms.
21. Changes to Commission, Prices or Programme Terms
We may change:
audiobook prices;
bundle prices;
participating products;
the Affiliate commission percentage;
payment arrangements;
promotional requirements; or
these Terms & Conditions.
Where we make a material change affecting existing Affiliates, we will aim to provide reasonable notice.
Any change to the commission percentage will apply prospectively and will not normally reduce commission already validly earned before the new rate takes effect.
22. No Guaranteed Earnings
Participation in the Affiliate Programme does not guarantee any particular number of sales, level of traffic or amount of income.
Affiliate earnings depend on successfully tracked qualifying purchases.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mango and Marmalade Stories Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from participation in the programme or from failures of third-party platforms, tracking services, payment providers or services outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
24. Privacy
Personal information provided by Affiliates will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws.
Affiliate information may also be processed by third-party services required to operate the programme, including Systeme.io and PayPal.
25. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights or legal protections that cannot lawfully be excluded in an Affiliate's jurisdiction.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms, except where applicable law provides a mandatory right for proceedings to be brought elsewhere.
